The PTE Speaking & Writing section tests your ability to communicate clearly in academic English. You will complete a variety of tasks on the computer, including recording your voice and writing responses.

• Re-order Paragraphs – arrange jumbled sentences into a logical order
• Reading: Fill in the Blanks – choose the correct words to complete a passage.
• Multiple-choice, Choose Single Answer – select the best answer for a given text.

The PTE Listening section checks your ability to understand spoken English in academic situations. You will hear audio or video clips and answer a range of question types that test both listening and writing skills.

• Summarize Spoken Text – listen to a recording and write a short summary.
• Multiple-choice, Choose Multiple Answers – select all correct responses from the given options.
• Fill in the Blanks – complete the transcript by typing missing words
• Highlight Correct Summary – pick the summary that best matches the recording
• Multiple-choice, Choose Single Answer – select the one correct option
• Select Missing Word – identify the missing word/phrase at the end of a recording.
• Highlight Incorrect Words – find differences between the transcript and the audio.
• Write from Dictation – type the exact sentence you hear.

• Age Limit: Age Limit: Candidates below 18 years of age are required to submit a Parental Consent Form signed by either a parent or legal guardian at the PTE test center before taking the exam. The approval process usually takes around 5 working days, as the request is reviewed by the PTE Customer Care team. Once you receive a reference number confirming the approval, you can proceed to register for the PTE Academic test by contacting the customer support team over the phone.
